Owner & Founder

Hi, I’m Dr. Alexandra Abramson (“Dr. A”), founder of MoVET. I started MoVET with a mission to make veterinary care more personal, accessible, and stress-free—for pets and their people. As a Cherry Hills Village resident and proud mom, I strive to blend medical excellence with a calm, compassionate approach that puts both pets and their owners at ease.

After years in traditional veterinary settings, I realized that care needed to meet families where they are—whether that’s in-clinic, at home, or virtually. That vision became MoVET: a locally owned, woman-owned practice focused on building relationships, not just appointments. We offer wellness exams, minor non-urgent illness visits, telemedicine, and a concierge-style experience tailored to each client and pet.

These days, I spend most of my time behind the scenes—overseeing operations, supporting our incredible team, and making sure MoVET runs smoothly. Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, Barrett, our two boys, Henry and James, our dog Nessie (@nessie_themovetpup), and my horse, Rebel.

Healthcare is so much more for us, it's personal. I invite you to become part of our family and grow with us!

Dr. Barbara Caldwell “Dr. C” brings a calm, compassionate approach to every pet visit, making veterinary care as stress-free and personalized as possible. With a passion for preventative medicine and building lasting relationships with pets and their families, Dr. C ensures each patient feels safe, comfortable, and cared for.

A firm believer in client education, Dr. C takes the time to listen, explain options clearly, and partner with owners to keep pets healthy and happy. When not caring for patients, Dr. C enjoys reading, seeing friends, and spending as much time as possible with her daughter, Kiley.
