 FAQs

Please contact us before your appointment should you feel your pet(s) needs more options, such as anxiolytics and / or supplements to continue to make your pet's visit more comfortable. We thank you in advance for keeping our staff safe!

  • We offer wellness exams, vaccines, minor illness visits, lab work, and follow-up care—all in the comfort of your home. Housecalls are designed for routine and preventative care, not emergency or surgical services.

  • Our mobile team serves Cherry Hills Village, Greenwood Village, DTC, and nearby surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether you’re in our service area, just call or text us—we’re happy to check!

  • We primarily see dogs and cats for housecalls, though certain services (like nail trims or sample collection) may vary depending on your pet’s temperament and setup at home.

  • In preparation for your upcoming visit, we ask that you please confine your pet to a small area—such as a bathroom or quiet room—before we arrive. This helps prevent hiding and makes the appointment smoother and less stressful for your pet. Choose a well-lit, comfortable space where we’ll have room to examine your pet and set up our supplies. If your pet is anxious or shy, let us know ahead of time so we can tailor the visit to help keep them calm and comfortable.

  • Yes! Most vaccines, lab work, and medications can be administered or dispensed during your appointment. We’ll bring everything we need right to your doorstep.

  • You can book online at movetcare.com, call, or text our team. We’ll help you find the best time and confirm that a housecall is right for your pet’s needs.

  • Housecalls include a small convenience fee to cover travel and setup, but many clients find the reduced stress and personalized experience well worth it.

  • For housecalls, we require at least 24 hours’ notice to allow our team to plan appropriately. While we don’t offer same-day housecalls, existing clients may be able to schedule a same-day appointment at our Belleview Stationclinic if availability allows. Please note, MoVET is not equipped for emergencies—if your pet requires urgent or critical care, proceed to the nearest emergency facility. • Pets can get nervous and anxious about visiting the veterinarian. We want to prevent any nervous behaviors that can later create fearful or even aggressive behaviors. Once this happens, veterinary visits can become very unpleasant for both owner and pet that we often resign to just not taking them to the vet's office at all anymore.

Please let us know in advance of any favorite treat, scratching spot, or any behavioral issues you may have encountered with your pet previously. Are they food motivated, territorial, or aggressive towards humans or other pets? Anything that would make your pet more comfortable with us for their visit would be great! We can offer anti-anxiety medications ahead of appointments for some patients that might need a little help relaxing around us.

  • We accept all major credit cards, debit, Apple Pay. (We do not accept Care Credit payments for housecalls.) Payment is due at the time of service. We do not accept cash.

Please be sure to add a payment method to your account before your appointment. Go to your Pet Portal to upload a valid form of payment. For housecalls, a payment MUST be on file before the day of the appointment.

Please note, due to previous no-shows, or invalid payment options presented at time of service, the credit card on file will be charged the Housecall Fee the morning of the appointment prior to our team's arrival. It is MoVET's policy now that our team will not arrive at your home for the appointment without this payment.
