Meet GI Soothing — Your Pet’s Tummy Sidekick!
Stress poops? Sensitive stomach? The occasional mystery vomit? We have something NEW for that!
Let's talk about something every pet parent knows a little too well: the tummy troubles.
Your dog gets diarrhea before boarding. Your cat protests a food change with their digestive system. Your pup occasionally throws up yellow bile, or your pet's stomach seems to have a mind of its own whenever life gets a little chaotic.
Sound familiar? Check all that apply!
☐ My dog gets diarrhea when stressed, traveling, or boarding.
☐ My dog occasionally throws up yellow bile.
☐ My cat or dog has a sensitive tummy or unpredictable stool.
☐ A new bag of food (even the same brand!) sometimes seems to cause digestive drama.
☐ Stress, routine changes, or new environments seem to upset my pet's stomach.
If you're nodding along, meet GI Soothing NEW by Standard Process Veterinary!
A new tool for those occasional tummy troubles
GI Soothing is a new nutritional supplement formulated for BOTH dogs and cats to support digestive health during occasional tummy troubles, including sensitive stomachs, occasional diarrhea, and what we lovingly call a “nervous gut.”
Unlike a basic probiotic alone, GI Soothing combines a beneficial probiotic yeast, a post-biotic, and soothing plant ingredients to provide multiple layers of digestive support.
Here's what makes it special:
Microbiome support: Probiotic yeast and postbiotics help support a healthy gut environment and stool quality.
Gentle digestive comfort: Slippery elm, marshmallow root, and okra contain soothing compounds that help coat and support the intestinal lining.
Easy to give: It's a powder you can mix into your pet's food. Moisten it with water, broth, or wet food to make administration easier.
When might you want it in your pet's cupboard?
Boarding or travel coming up?
If your dog tends to get stress-related diarrhea, consider keeping GI Soothing on hand before the trip. Nobody wants to spend their vacation worrying about a nervous tummy!
An occasional tummy hiccup?
If your otherwise happy, normally behaving pet has a mild, short-lived episode of digestive upset, GI Soothing may be worth discussing with us as an option for at-home support.
Switching foods?
If your dog or cat has a history of a sensitive stomach, ask us about using GI Soothing alongside a diet transition. Even a new bag or lot of the same food can sometimes coincide with digestive changes. Introduce new diets gradually whenever possible.
A nervous gut?
Stress can affect digestion, too. GI Soothing may help support your pet during occasional digestive challenges, although it isn't a sedative or a substitute for medical or behavioral care.
Occasional support vs. long-term maintenance: What's the difference?
Here's an important distinction: we don't want GI Soothing to become a long-term crutch for an ongoing digestive problem.
Think of GI Soothing as a tool for occasional tummy troubles. If your pet struggles with recurring digestive issues or needs ongoing support to maintain healthy digestion, we may recommend Standard Process Canine or Feline Enteric Support as part of a longer-term nutritional plan.
Enteric Support is designed to provide broader digestive system support, helping maintain healthy digestive function over time.

When should you call MoVET instead?
We love helping you avoid unnecessary stress (and unnecessary trips!), but we never want you to overlook something that needs medical attention.
GI Soothing is intended for occasional digestive upset, not persistent or severe illness. If vomiting or diarrhea lasts more than 24–48 hours, keeps recurring, or is getting worse, please contact us rather than continuing to manage it at home.
Repeated vomiting, blood in vomit or stool, significant lethargy, abdominal pain or swelling, or an inability to keep water down warrants prompt veterinary attention. Puppies, kittens, elderly pets, and medically fragile animals may need care sooner. Suspected toxin or foreign-object ingestion needs immediate veterinary guidance.
And that occasional yellow-bile vomit? It may seem minor, but recurring vomiting deserves a conversation with your veterinarian to help identify the cause.
